Legacy Celebration Weekend March 2-3, 2019

It is with deep gratitude for our past and hope for the future, that our congregation has sold One Walton Place, our church home for over one hundred years. As we prepare to restart in our seventh location, please join us for our FCCS Legacy Weekend events March 2-3. We will celebrate the generations of parishioners who have found meaning, purpose and spiritual community within these walls — as well as celebrate our missions in the City of Stamford and beyond.

On Saturday, March 2 from 4–6:00pm, please join us for a wine and cheese social in the dining room, where we can enjoy the company of FCCS members, friends and alumni — as well as view a collection from the church’s archives highlighting the history of our congregation at One Walton Place.

On Sunday, March 3 at 10:30am, please join us as we gather for the last worship service in our sanctuary, where we will celebrate our 106 years in our sixth meeting house: our congregation and community, our worship and outreach. The Rev. Kent Siladi and The Rev. Dr. Todd Grant Yonkman will officiate. A reception will follow in the parlor.

Come ready with a memory, too, of your experiences at FCCS over the years. We will be providing cards where you can write your memories that we will collect to create a Legacy Album for our church.

Childcare will be provided at both events. Overflow parking is available at the Bedford Street Garage on 17 Forest Street.

RSVP by February 24 for the Wine and Cheese Social here.

We need an accurate people count to plan for food and drink.
