The Lord’s Supper is celebrated as part of our worship service on the first Sunday of each month and at other special times. We celebrate an open Table, welcoming all individuals of any age and faith background—whether or not baptized, whether or not Christian—everyone is welcome to share in this sacrament of the presence of Christ in community. We remember the radical table fellowship of Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth and we seek to embody that same extravagant welcome to all people. As we gather together at Jesus’ Table, we celebrate and share in the power of the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Christ. Oh, the joy of what God has done for the world in Christ Jesus! Thanks be to God! Come and eat!
